Like a lot of weekends, we were just about to head out to my 10-year old's soccer game...and then the storm came. It's raining cats and dogs here, and apparently the whole field is under water, thunder and lighting, high winds and dark skies. So, it was cancelled. Nothing to do now i guess except to sit back and listen to the jazz fusion sounds of LA jazz pianist Hampton Hawes. Here's a track from his 1972 album "Universe."
