Before Ohio band The Laughing Chimes released last year's fantastic "Whispers in the Speech Machine" LP, they were working on something a little lighter and janglier than that album turned out being. That work is seeing the light of day next month with the impending release of "Behind Your Blue Fields," a collection of songs and demos that just didn't fit the first time around.
