Listening to CCR's "Effigy" yesterday reminded me that alt-country originators Uncle Tupelo covered back in '93 for the "No Alternative" compilation. They do a very faithful version too, while still sounding entirely like themselves. Anyhoo, here's the title track from the band's '93 album "Anodyne" for what is a blisteringly hot day here in Central Texas. Check it out below, our Daily Jam.
