New York shoegaze band Antarctica only released one album and one EP during their brief tenure in the '90s, but they were both fantastic. And, they've both been given the vinyl reissue treatment over the last year or so, which is good news for all of us. Here's a track from their full length "81:03." Very often i find myself going back to the music i listened to as a teenager in high school or college, when i would go to a music store and come back home with a dozen used CDs, stacks of now gone, but not forgotten artists. New York band Antarctica is one of those artists, releasing an LP and EP of shoegazey post rock in the late '90s before calling it quits. Any of you boutique record labels out there want to get to work reissuing these, it would be appreciated. Anyway, here's "Full Crescent Crusade," our Daily Jam.
