Canadian post punk band Cola arose from the ashes of now defunct band Ought in 2022, and now have their sophomore effort "The Gloss" heading our way this summer. Check out the cool and meandering "Bitter Melon" below and pre-order the LP here from Fire Talk.
Here's one i missed back in May. I knew that post-punk band Ought had broken up, but did not know that lead singer Tim Darcy was back with a new group called Cola. While i still prefer Darcy's solo work to either of his full-time projects, "Deep in View" has a real cool and steady post punk vibe to it.
