Control Top

I caught Philly band Control Top last year during SXSW, and their particular brand of dance-ready punk rock is a whole lotta fun.  Of course we're not going to be able to see them again this year for a little while, but we can still support them (and all these other bands i'm posting about).  Listen to new single "One Good Day" below and get it here from the band (but wait until tomorrow as Bandcamp is foregoing their normal percentage and giving 100% to the artists).

SXSW 2019 Day 3 Pics

As per usual at SXSW, Monday and Tuesday did not adequately prepare me for how crowded this thing can get.  Monday and Tuesday are always more chill, with fewer elbows to bump into and more room to spread out.  That being said, today was still fun, if not hotter and a tad more claustrophobic (i skipped a set by Sir Babygirl because the small, packed room was just too much).  I saw two absolutely amazing sets from CHAI and Black Midi, hopefully not the last.  Here's some pics...
