SXSW 2014, Day 1

Managed to get my ass out to a free day show today at The Lost Well in east Austin.  Surly Fest consisted of psych-tinged garage rock bands to get the blood flowing hot and free beer to ease the brain away.  Here are a few pics.

Faith No More's 1995 album "King for a Day, Fool for a Lifetime" is one of my favorite albums of the 90's...and unfortunately it gets a bad rap.  Way, way underrated.  Read my opinion about it over at Joup.
