I saw a bunch of wonderful music last week, and the prevailing theme of many of the parties and shows i went to was totally feminist...and that's awesome. Women fronted or assisted bands predominantly made up the whole of what i saw, and they were all fantastic. New York's Ex-Girlfriends was one such band, a raucous and sneering garage rock act that slayed it for Panache Booking.
