Electronic artist MAINE released the album "IV" back in 2016 in digital format. There may have also been a couple cassettes running around at the time too, but it's finally seeing a proper vinyl release in 2023 courtesy of Midnight Mannequin Records. Analog synths abound. Check out the album opening "Never Speak, Never Teach" below and grab a copy here quick before they're all gone.
Synth soundtracks to films both real and imagined take up a lot of my earspace, and have for years now. French synthwave artist MAINE takes these horror and sci-fi cues we've all grown to love and distributes them accordingly on new record "V," creating an atmospheric, and sometimes dancey record that twists and turns just like you'd imagine a pretend film it could accompany would. Listen to "L'autome" below and get the album from Burning Witches.
