Belbury Poly
Belbury Poly (Jim Jupp) has a new album of electronic music heading our way with the forthcoming "Sorcery." The artist adds elements of fantasy and dungeon synths to his usual mix library sounds, kosmische psych, UK folk, and old school analog synthesizers. Good stuff as per usual. Check out "Dreamthief" below and pre-order the LP here from Ghost Box.
Jeremiah Chiu
Here's some new music from LA by way Chicago artist Jeremiah Chiu. Upcoming album "Edge Conditions" find the artist fusing jazz and electronic music into strange, otherworldly pieces of sound, like some kind of improvisational new age. Weird and wonderful stuff. Check out "Plastic Mind / Elastic Machines" below and pre-order the LP here from International Anthem.

R. Missing
New York's R. Missing is proving to be quite the prolific artist, dropping single after single, and album after album these last couple years. It can be hard to keep up. Anyway, it's still fun to try, and her latest, "I Can Feel Your Solar System," is a lovely mix of dreampop and dark, dancey synth pop. Check it out below and download it here.
Ancient Channels
Here's some excellent new music from Brisbane band Ancient Channels. The quintet make a mix of death rock, darkwave synth pop, post punk, shoegaze, dreampop, and more, essentially a dream blunt rotation of musical subgenres. Check out the dark, gloomy, and reverb-drenched "Hex Beat" below and grab the band's "Static Spirit" LP here from False Peak Records.

White Ring
Witch house was a very niche genre of electronic music about 16-17 years ago. It's not as prevalent as it used to be, as far as it ever was, but it also never really went away. Hell, there's always a big internet to-do anytime Salem releases something. Anyhoo, noted Florida witch house band White Ring have a new album heading our way next month. Pre-order the forthcoming "FATE" LP here from the duo, check the ghostly image of the twin towers on the album cover art above, and listen to "Eyes 4 U" below.
Daily Jam - Fire
Work is still a bear for me right now, and while my travel is wrapped up, i've got a veritable mountain of data entry and accounting research in front of me. Best to listen to new age relaxation music while i dive into it. Listen to "Fire" below, from Christopher Pidgeon's 1981 album "Life Forces" below, our Daily Jam.

Why Bother?
Iowa band Why Bother? have a very cool synth/psych/garage rock/post-punk fusion thing going on for them, and i am here for it. New album "Beyond Step One" dropped earlier this month, and it's a total banger with weird, surreal, spoken word pieces strewn throughout. I don't think anything else sounds quite like it. Grab it here from Feel It Records and listen to "Come Undone" below.

Let there be much rejoicing...and moody dancing. Check out "Hard Beat" below and pre-order the LP here from Nude Club Records.
Daily Jam - Don't Go
Here's some '80s synth pop for your Wednesday. Listen to what in my opinion is one of the best synth lines of all time in pop music with "Don't Go" by Yazoo (Yaz to us North Americans), our Daily Jam.
