Thorn Wych
Here's some strange and haunting experimental folk from UK artist Thorn Wych. The music on "Aesthesis" sounds ancient, like the musical accompaniment to some exotic ritual, passed down through the ages, old myths and foreign customs. Check out the warped and yearning strings of "Longing Song" below and get the LP here from Tompkins Square.

Belbury Poly
Belbury Poly (Jim Jupp) has a new album of electronic music heading our way with the forthcoming "Sorcery." The artist adds elements of fantasy and dungeon synths to his usual mix library sounds, kosmische psych, UK folk, and old school analog synthesizers. Good stuff as per usual. Check out "Dreamthief" below and pre-order the LP here from Ghost Box.

The Thorn
Here's a new track from London based band The Thorn, formerly known as Large Plants. On "Fountain," the band really leans into autumnal English psych folk. It's quite lovely. Listen below and download it here.

The New Eves
UK four-piece The New Eves are set to release their debut full-length LP, "The New Eve Is Rising," in August on Transgressive Records. The group's musical style is a cello-laden mix of no wave punk, avant garde rock, and English folk, weird and wonderful stuff. Check out new tune "Cow Song" below and pre-order the record here.

Milkweed
Here's some very cool and strange new music from UK band Milkweed. "Exile of the Sons of Uisliu" sounds like something from another planet, a warbly mix of UK folk, trip-hop, and general otherworldliness. I'm not sure if there's anything else out there that sounds quite like it. Dig on the track below and pre-order the upcoming "Remscéla" LP here.
