Westkust

If Sweden's Westkust don't have some kind of shrine to Creation Records set up in their rehearsal space, then something is amiss.  The five-piece, which includes members of Makthaverskan, weave a swirly, dreamy, reverb-heavy mix of shoegaze and pop with hints of post-punk splattered throughout.  I would have loved these guys 20-something years ago...hell, i love them now.  Listen to "Swirl" below and look for the upcoming "Last Forever" LP on Run For Cover later this year.

Makthaverskan hail from Sweden and make dark, pop-fueled post-punk in the vein of bands like Savages.  There's also some definite Siouxsie Sioux action going on here.  It's awesome.  Listen to "Witness" below and grab it here.
