Daily Jam - I'm Lonely (And I Love It)

I've been a fan of Stephen Merritt and Magnetic Fields for a long time now, and i've always felt that his many side projects (The 6ths, Gothic Archies, etc.) don't get the kind of love that they deserve.  One of those is the synth and pop and dance heavy Future Bible Heroes.  Releases for this project are pretty sparse, but they're always great, especially the EPs.  Listen to 2000's cheeky "I'm Lonely (And I Love It)" below, our Daily Jam.

Future Bible Heroes

Stephen Merritt's long dormant project, Future Bible Heroes, are back with the first new record in over 10 years.  Dancey, synthy, audio bubblegum of the finest order, the "Partygoing" LP continues in the vein Merritt started with this band back in the 90's with Magnetic Fields member Claudia Gonson taking vocal duties.  Listen to "Living, Loving, Partygoing" below and get the album on Merge.
