Living Nudes - Invisible, Like Peace

Recording time has been a fleeting thing these last couple of months (turns out kids take up a lot of time...who knew?), though my goal for 2018 is still to record and release all the remaining old songs i have laying around in notebooks and my head.  Right now, i'm trying to complete another LP consisting of songs i wrote around the time my dad passed away, and a couple of songs originally written for my old band, now in lo-fi, bedroom pop form.  Here's one i finished.  15 years ago, "Invisible, Like Peace" was kind of a hardcore punk rock song.  Things change i guess.  Listen below, download here, listen to my other stuff, etc., if you are so inclined...of course.

It's me again...back with more shameless self promotion for this thing i'm calling Living Nudes.  I'm quite literally trying to record about two decades worth of material in my free time, and i hope to have it all down and released to the world sometime over the next year.  So, here's the latest, the "Sad Song / Happy Song" EP, featuring songs written well over 15+ years ago, one as far back as high school circa 1995 or 96.  Stream the whole thing below, and as always, download it here if you are so inclined.

Living Nudes

I have never really been very comfortable with any kind of self-promotion.  It's hard.  It feels weird.  And i guess i just don't take compliments very well.  Anyway, i made a record.  Not a physical one mind you, as i don't have the kind of scratch required to press anything to vinyl, but a little digital collection of songs i've had sitting in my head for a long time.  Some of these were penned as far back as 2002, but for some reason or another, i just never got them down on tape (i guess i've been pretty busy).  I wanted to change that.  I needed to change that.  So, during any of the free moments i've had over the last few months, an hour here or 30 minutes there, i've been recording in my bedroom.  And this is what i've got.  I'm naming the project Living Nudes and calling the record "My World Exploded."  Normally i find it natural and easy to write about music, but when it's my own, i guess i'm at a loss.  All in all, it's a lo-fi affair, and i hope you like it.  Stream the whole thing below and download it here if you are so inclined.
