Ever the purveyor of cold and moody experimental sounds, Blackest Ever Black's last release of 2013 comes from North Carolina's Secret Boyfriend. "This Is Where You've Lived" is a mesh of minimalist beats, cold synthesizers, sprawling ambience, and hushed vocals. There's a nice post punk vibe working throughout the whole thing too, like Joy Division recording "Atmosphere" in a basement on a tape recorder. Take a listen to "Beyond the Darkness" below.
