Somewhere in my blood resides the old electronic and industrial remnants of the music i was obsessed with in 10th grade, which was actually years too late, but the internet was still in its infancy, so it took us longer to find things. Wax Trax and Coil and other purveyors of synthetic, abrasive sound wormed their way into my ears only to stay forever. Maybe that's why i'm really digging on the throwback dark electronic noise of Identified Patient & Sophie du Palais. It would have fit right in with all of that '80s mayhem.
