A lot of the dark and brooding ambient industrial music from Dominick Fernow's Vatican Shadow project uses thematic imagery from the US's decades of imperialism and warmongering. It's in the tones. It's in the moods. It's in the cover art. The artist's latest effort draws its inspiration from SR-71 Blackbird warplane to quite haunting effect.
