The album "Promises" kept popping up all over the place for me yesterday. A collaborative effort between electronic artist Floating Points, The London Symphony Orchestra, and legendary saxophonist Pharoah Sanders, i guess the universe was trying to tell me something. So i checked it out and was floored, just a beautiful and sublime mix of orchestra, synthesizer, and sax. At moments it feels like the soundtrack to some neon noir while at others it's stargazing.
