So, the last few days, i've managed to pop my head into a couple of SXSW day parties while on lunch breaks, and i've caught some cool stuff, one of which is the 7-member Montreal psych rock band TEKE::TEKE. The band fuses Japanese psych rock with surf rock, punk, and more, all with a fun and cinematic flair. A lot of their stuff feels like it would fit in perfectly on the soundtrack to some '60s spy or crime flick set in Japan. This is very much my shit.
