Maine duo Ash & Herb have a new album of acid-drenched psych-freak out sonic explorations to explode your minds and seer your consciousnesses to. "Roughin' It" collects six live improvisations for earhole pleasure. Check out the album opening "Zero In" below, 11 minutes of psychedelic wonder that sounds something like slowly losing your grip on reality while surrounded by a hippie death cult. Check it out below and get the album here from Flower Room.
Matt LaJoie of the Maine psych duo Ash & Herb also puts out music under the moniker of ML Wah, and his latest, the upcoming "Deep Roots" LP, is a swampy mix of psych, weirdo folk, drone, jazz, and spiritual explorations. Listen to "Santal" below and pre-order the record here from Flower Room.
The state of Maine doesn't really make me think of psychedelic cosmic Americana. To me, it's more trees and child-eating clowns, but here we are with the wonderful upcoming new 7" from psych folk rock duo Ash & Herb. Their latest is "Salt Lick," a veritable swirling kaleidoscope of trippy, organic sound. Listen below and pre-order the 7" here from Flower Room.
