Daily Jam - Skinned

This weekend i'm making my family go with me to Kingsland, Texas to visit the "Texas Chain Saw Massacre" house, which these days is a restaurant called Hooper's.  Originally located outside of Round Rock, Texas, the house was cut into six pieces, moved to its current location in 1998, and fully restored.  I'm stoked to check it out.  In the meantime, here's a Blind Melon song about Leatherface influence Ed Gein.  Listen to "Skinned" below, our Daily Jam.

Daily Jam - Galaxie

Oh Blind Melon and their criminally underrated sophomore album "Soup," and what maybe might have been.  They probably would have been dropped from their label anyway, the record being kind of commercial bomb, had Shannon Hoon not died, but its nods towards folk and New Orleans jazz gave me all kinds of warm fuzzies.  Here's "Galaxie," our Daily Jam.
