Oh Blind Melon and their criminally underrated sophomore album "Soup," and what maybe might have been. They probably would have been dropped from their label anyway, the record being kind of commercial bomb, had Shannon Hoon not died, but its nods towards folk and New Orleans jazz gave me all kinds of warm fuzzies.
