Myrkur
A new Myrkur album came out yesterday? I'll be damned. The Danish artist's mix of black metal, goth, doom, and dark folk makes for the perfect kind of autumnal vibes we need around these parts. Check out "Like Humans" below and get the new "Spine" LP here from Relapse.

Myrkur
March will bring us a new record from Denmark's Myrkur with "Folkesange." The new album foregoes a lot of the black metal from her past two releases and focuses more on traditional Scandinavian folk music. Check out the first single, "Ella," below and pre-order the album here from Relapse.

Myrkur
Fuckin' A, we've got some new music from Myrkur headed our way in September. The gothy black metal chanteuse's latest, "Mareidt," even features fellow dark princess Chelsea Wolfe on a couple of tracks, so this should be a noisy and heavy candlelit affair to remember. Get your corpse paint and your black nail polish ready, and listen to "Maneblot" below, and be sure to get the record from Relapse.

Myrkur
Later this month, Relapse will be releasing a live album from one-woman black metal artist Myrkur. "Mausoleum" features stripped down, acoustic reinterpretations of songs featuring a haunting choir and recorded in the historic Emanuel Vigeland Mausoleum in Oslo, Norway. It's awesome, and transcendent, and you should totally buy it. Yeah, you. Listen to "Jeg er Guden, I er Tjenerne" below.

Myrkur, the one-woman black metal project of Ex-Cops' Amalie Brunn, is set to release her "M" LP later this month on Relapse Records, and with a production assist from Ulver's Kristoffer "Garm" Rygg, it's shaping up to be a monster. Listen to the Norwegian fury and Celtic tones of "Hævnen" below.

New music from Myrkur
One woman black metal band Myrkur (Ex-Cops' Amalie Bruun) is hard at work on a full length LP, following her excellent self-titled EP from last year. Take a listen to the demo version of "Skaði" below and be on the lookout for the as-of-yet untitled LP later this year on Relapse. If the album is as good as this demo, be prepared.

Myrkur
Myrkur, if press releases are to be believed, is a one-woman black metal act hailing from "the darkness of Scandinavia." That's pretty awesome. And the music is a haunting mix of shredding guitar licks, guttural screams, enchanting female harmonies, and enough feedback and reverb to keep the shoegaziest of shoegazers content. Consider me a fan. Relapse are set release the self-titled EP in September. You should get it, and you should listen to "Nattens Barn" below.
