Lustre

May brings us new music from Swedish atmospheric black metal artist Lustre.  Things feel dark and icy as per usual, the one-man-band really crafting the kind of music to watch snow fall to.  You can practically hear the wind like it's just outside your window.  Check out "Phantom Part 1" below and pre-order the "Phantom" album here from Nordvis.

Murg

Digging on the Swedish jams today, though this time around i'm going the black metal route with the latest from Murg.  Listen to the crusty and noise "Renhet" below and pre-order the "Strävan" LP here from Nordvis.

Lustre - The First Snow

Here's some beautiful, atmospheric new black metal from Sweden's Lustre for this dreary Sunday (dreary in Central Texas at least).  "The First Snow" sounds just like its name, cold and chilly, a wintry echo of sound and gray.  Listen below and get it here via Nordvis.

Lustre - Blossom

Sweden's one man black metal band Lustre is back with a new album of atmospheric and absolutely beautiful songs on "Blossom" available from Nordvis.  The album is epic and triumphant, the layers of noisy guitar subsiding a bit to let the gorgeous synthesizer take you on a wondrous journey.  It's kind of hard to call this black metal, though the influence is totally there.  It's just too pretty.  Stream the album below and buy it here.

Lustre

Because metal is beautiful and so are you, here's a cut from Swedish one man band Lustre's new album "Wonder."  "Green Worlds" is part classical composition, part sweeping ambience, and part fuzzy, droning guitars.  It's wonderful and beautiful and solid proof that any and every genre should be as malleable as possible.  Listen below and look for the album from Nordvis Produktions.
