Ritual Howls

I heard from my buddy Shawn that the excellent post punk band Ritual Howls have a new record heading our way in October, on Halloween to be exact.  A perfect fit if you ask me.  Dig on the gothic vibes of "Follow the Sun" below and pre-order the "Ruin" LP here from Felte Records.

Ritual Howls

I'm pulling up new music by the bucket today.  Gloomy Detroit post punk band Ritual Howls have a new album heading our way in May on the always dependable Felte Records.  Check out the pulsing new song "Dark Ceiling in Tennessee" below and pre-order the upcoming "Virtue Falters" LP here.

Ritual Howls

As 2019 starts to get going, the new album announcements roll out and get me all excited.  March brings us the latest from Detroit post punk band Ritual Howls, and if you pony up the cash, you can get an accompanying leather bound book of the lyrics to all the band's songs.  While you consider this, listen to the Americana vibes of "Alone Together" below, and then pre-order the "Rendered Armor" LP (with or without the book) here from Felte Records.

Ritual Howls

Gothy, industrial-esque Detroit post punk band Ritual Howls are back next month with a new EP on Felte.  On "Blood Red Moon," there's almost a dance thing going on, like some dour, but propulsive beat to send you into the grave.  Listen below and pre-order the "Their Body" EP here.

Ritual Howls

First, to credit Shawn Baker's current infatuation with Felte Records, i find myself revisiting the label's array of artists to find that many of them have new music coming out.  Detroit post punk band Ritual Howls are readying their latest LP, the forthcoming "Into the Water" due in August, and the tracks they've offered up thus far add strands of darkwave sheen and Gothic heaviness to their particular brand of post punk art.  Album closer "Going Upstate" in particular carries an ominous vibe, a dark current of menace...bad things are going to happen.  Listen below, pre-order the record here, and much thanks to Shawn.

Ritual Howls

Ritual Howls hails from Detroit.  The trio craft driving, haunting songs with touches of goth and industrial steam into their post-punk stew.  It's pretty catching, and i'm really digging on first single "Zemmoa" from the band's upcoming "Turkish Leather" LP due in September on Felte.  Listen below.
