April will bring us a new record from Yves Tumor.  Check out the first single, "Gospel for a New Century," below, a pop song filled to the brim with nods to electronica, hip-hop, alt-rock, soul, R&B, and more.  Then pre-order the upcoming "Heaven to a Tortured Mind" LP here from the artist.

Continuing to find stuff from last year that i missed, experimental electronic artist Yves Tumor released the complex and eclectic "Safe in the Hands of Love" on Warp back in September.  The album fuses pop, noise, trip-hop, R&B, and more more more into its audio tapestry to create something at once familiar and wholly unique.  Check out the frayed and noisy album closer, that somehow never completely flies of the rails, "Let the Lioness in You Flow Freely" below and get the record here.
