I caught Calvin Love a few years back and during his SXSW set, he wavered back and forth between quirky indie pop and garage rock. New album "Lavender" is heading our way in a few days, and it finds the artist in more of a dreamy Americana mood, playing the kind of classic rock and doo-wop indebted music that would fit perfectly in a David Lynch movie.
