Fawn

Fawn is the poppy electronic project of former Chromatics member Nat Walker and former Glass Candy member Ida No.  The duo just dropped new single "Eyes" a few days ago.  Check it out below, dance around your house, and download it here.

Fawn

Honestly, the best kind of shoegaze is the stuff that's simultaneously dreamy and noisy, a swirly mix of reverb and haze.  San Antonio band Fawn do it nicely on their upcoming new "Paper Thin" EP.  Check out the title track below and pre-order the record here from Sunday Drive.

Fawn

Fresh off last year's excellent "Flamboyant NonViolent" LP, Fawn (Ida No and Nat Walker) just released new EP "Earthlights," a collection of stripped down and reworked versions of songs from last year's opus with new titles to boot.  Check out the sing-songy "99 Degrees" below and download the EP here from the duo.

Fawn

Somehow, i missed the debut full-length release from Fawn, the duo of Glass Candy's Ida No and former Chromatics member Nat Walker, last October(!!!!).  Apparently the album, "Flamboyant NonViolent" dropped without any kind of announcement, or at least none that i saw, and then got memory-holed by the Internet.  Only for me to find out about it 11 months later now that it's getting a vinyl release.  And man, it's got all those Glass Candy/Chromatics vibes i've been missing.  Check out the dreamy disco glitter of "Scars on Everything" below and get the record here from the band.

Fawn

Here's another new dreamy and poppy track from Fawn, the new project of former Chromatics member Nat Walker and former(?) Glass Candy member Ida No.  That both of those projects seemed to have reached their conclusions still makes me a little sad, but i'll gladly take new music from all the artists involved however they want to release it.  Check out "Mansions" below.  I'll keep you posted when an album materializes.

Fawn

All the former Chromatics members are moving on with new projects and new music.  It's bittersweet, but i am digging on the new jams.  The latest comes from Nat Walker with her new project Fawn, which notably includes Glass Candy's Ida No in the mix.  Check out the dreamy and melancholy "Graffiti in the Hall" below.  Hopefully there is more to come soon.
