Gwenno

It looks like we've got new music heading our way this summer from Welsh artist Gwenno.  Dig on the delightfully poppy and European "Dancing on Volcanoes" below and pre-order the upcoming "Utopia" LP here from Heavenly Recordings.

Delivery

It's looking like Australian punk band Delivery are going to be all over Austin next week, so maybe i'll get the chance to take in their garage rock sounds.  The band's new album "Force Majeure" dropped back in January.  Get it here from Heavenly Recordings and listen to "Focus, Right" below.

Saint Etienne

Long running UK group Saint Etienne are set to release their 12th album "The Night" next month.  Check out the tranquil "Half Light" below and pre-order the LP here from Heavenly Recordings.

HALO MAUD

Oh those French girls get me every time.  French artist HALO MAUD just released the album "Celebrate," a mix of psych pop and alt-rock with hints of '90s Britpop and more.  Check out the wonderful "Terres Infinies" below and get the LP here from Heavenly Recordings.

Unloved

I don't know too much about LA alt-rock band Unloved except that a lot of their music was featured on the TV show "Killing Eve."  But their upcoming new record, "The Pink Album," features guest spots from both Jon Spencer and Jarvis Cocker, so they have my attention.  Check out the dreamy "Thinkin' About Her" below and pre-order the album here from Heavenly Recordings.

Gwenno

Super stoked to find out this morning that we can expect a new album from Welsh psych pop artist Gwenno this summer.  New song "An Stevel Nowydh" finds the artist blending her particular brand of kosmische-tinged psychedelia with the sounds of English folk.  It's entrancing.  Check the track out below and pre-order the upcoming "Tresor" LP here from Heavenly Recordings.

Saint Etienne

Saint Etienne.  Now that's a name i haven't thought about in a long, long time.  And like most things from the '90s these days, they're back again.  Recorded separately from each other during these times of covid, new album "I've Been Trying to Tell You" pulls from sounds and samples the band created 20+ years ago to ruminate on how much has changed since then, and if the proverbial golden age has come and gone, if it ever even existed at all.  Check out "Pond House" below, pre-order the album here from Heavenly, and get your mopey dance on.

Working Men's Club

Here's some cool, grooving, and kind of frenetic post punk from Manchester's Working Men's Club to dance and despair to.  Check out "X" below and snag the "X & Y?" 7" here from Heavenly Recordings.
