Dig on some chilled out an laid back new jazz from Bad Brains bassist Darryl Jenifer. "The Weather Channel" features a bevy of other artists like jazz pianist John Medeski. Listen to "Sacred Love II" below and pre-order the LP here from Org Music.
Mellotron Variations is a project from John Medeski, Pat Sansone, Johnathan Kirkscey, and Robby Grant, a collection of kind of neo-classical film score compositions for some imaginary piece of cinema we'll never be lucky enough to see. There are elements of psych rock, jazz, funk, and library sounds to get the blood warm and flowing in your ears. Watch the video for "Into the Sunrise" below and get the self-titled album here from Spaceflight Records.
