Daily Jam - Hey Goodbye

In 2000, Georgia post rock band Macha recorded an EP with Texas slowcore band Bedhead.  The result was "Macha Loved Bedhead - Bedhead Loved Macha."  It's a great mix of the best of both groups, even including a subdued cover of Cher's "Believe."  Check out the EP's centerpiece with "Hey Goodbye" below, our Daily Jam.

"Colonel Jeffrey Pumpernickel" was a weird compilation/concept album that came out in the early '00s featuring a slew of great artists like Guided By Voices, Stephen Malkmus, Grandaddy, The Black Heart Procession, and more.  One of the songs came from experimental, under-loved Georgia band Macha.  Check out "He Remembers His Burial at Sea" below, our Daily Jam, and dig on those bagpipes at the end.
