Shabazz Palaces have consistently been putting out some of the more interesting hip-hop out there for over 10 years.  New album "Robed in Rareness" is out next month on Sub Pop and features a slew of different artists throwing their own styles into the mix.  Check out the eerie "Woke Up in a Dream" featuring Lil Tracy below and pre-order the album here.

The best tracks from Seattle duo Shabazz Palaces are the ones that sound like they're coming to us from another world or dimension.  There's something so alien about the sounds they create, and new track "20 Gear Science" fits into that mold nicely.  Check it out below and download it here.

I saw trippy hip-hop duo Shabazz Palaces way back in 2011, and i swear they get a little weirder with every single release, which is both wonderful and satisfying.  New album "The Don of Diamond Dreams" is heading our way next month, and they've just released a video for new tune "Chocolate Souffle."  Check it out below and get the record here from Sub Pop.

Another album i seemingly ignored this year was "Lese Majesty," the latest effort from hip-hop act Shabazz Palaces, and a furthered continuation of the duo's deconstruction of rap music.  No one else sounds like these guys.  There's something almost cosmic about their musical interpretations.  Take a listen to "#CAKE" below and get the record from Sub Pop.
