Houston darkwave synth pop duo raudiver have been dropping some remixes lately, and the latest comes from Florida-based shoegaze band The Stargazer Lilies.  Check out the "Bleach" remix below and download it here from Geodesic Records.

Golomb Remixed by Sonic Boom

Earlier this month, Columbus, Ohio trio Golomb dropped their new "The Beat Goes On and On and On" EP, a companion to last year's "The Beat Goes On" LP.  It features a few alternate takes, remixes, and more, including this wonderful mix of "Be Here Now (Feels So Good)" by Sonic Boom (of Spacemen 3 and Spectrum fame).  Check it out below and grab the 12" here from No Quarter.

Just Mustard Remixed by Daniel Avery

Irish post punk band Just Mustard just released a new Daniel Avery remix of "Endless Deathless," a standout from last year's "We Were Just Here" LP.  The remix has a '90s electronica feel to it that's really taking me back.  Dig on it below and download here from Partisan Records.

HEALTH Remixed by Zetra

Pretty much since the very start of their music careers, the guys from LA electro-noise band HEALTH have been keen on collaborations, either by releasing music with a slew of other artists or offering up their work for remix and reinterpretation.  The new "R-TYPE III" EP finds them doing the latter.  Check out Zetra's excellent and gothy "Unloved (Zetra Rmx)" below and download the whole thing here from Loma Vista.

Penelope Trappes Remixed by Julia Holter

Last year, dark experimental electronic artist Penelope Trappes released the excellent "A Requiem" LP.  This year, that some album gets the remix treatment from a slew of fantastic artists like Midwife and Saint Etienne.  Check out the eerie and dreamy rework of "Thou Art Mortal" by Julia Holter below and pre-order the upcoming "OPVS NOVUM: A Requiem Reworked" here from One Little Independent Records.

GLOK/Timothy Clerkin Remixed by bdrmm

IDLES Remixed

Over the summer, Bristol post punk band IDLES released the soundtrack to Darren Aronofsky's "Caught Stealing."  Today, the group dropped some remixes from said soundtrack featuring mixes from artists like Yeah Yeah Yeahs member Nick Zinner and experimental noise makers Lip Critic.  Check out Interpol's mix of "Rabbit Run" below and download everything here from Partisan Records.

Model/Actriz Remixed by Olof Dreijer

Brooklyn's industrial-tinged post-punk band Model/Actriz get the remix treatment from The Knife's Olof Dreijer with the Swedish producer's rework of this year's track "Cinderella."  It's simultaneously weird and club-ready.  Check it out below and download it here from True Panther.

Her New Knife Remixed

Philly band Her New Knife are re-releasing their 2024 "Chrome Is Lullaby" EP with a slew of remixes on the B-side.  One of those remixes comes courtesy of fellow Philly outfit They Are Gutting A Body of Water.  Check out said remix of "Kittyriff" below and pre-order the vinyl here from Julia's War Recordings.

Dream Division Reimagined

Last year, psychedelic artist Dream Division released the Giallo-inspired album "A Rose in the Garden of Winter," a funky and acid drenched faux soundtrack to an '70s Italian thriller that never existed.  This year, that album gets a reimagining from a slew of artists and The Library of the Occult Electronic Orchestra.  Contributors include artists like Ivan The Terrible, The Hologram People, Antoni Maiovvi, and more.  Check out the funky psych version of "Thorns" from Project Gemini below and pre-order the "Una Rosa nel Giardino d'Inverno: Il Ritorno" LP here from Library of The Occult.

ØXN Remixed by DROKK

Irish doom folk band ØXN released their "CYRM" LP back in 2023.  This month, we're getting two excellent remixes of the track "Cruel Mother" from the album, mixed by the Geoff Barrow/Ben Salisbury project DROKK and Ben Frost.  Check out the mix of folk and electronica on the DROKK remix below and get the 12" here from Invada.  100% of the money goes to the charity War Child UK.

Tortoise Remixed by Saul Williams

Long running post rock band Tortoise released new track "Oganesson" a little while back on International Anthem, and the track is now getting the full remix treatment from a variety of artists on the new "Oganesson Remixes" 12".  Check out the strange spoken word rendition from Saul Williams below and get the record here.

Vegyn Remixes Air

Record Store Day was last weekend, and as per usual i spent way too much money.  But i got some cool shit, like a reissue of Marty Willson-Piper's (The Church) 1987 solo album "In Reflection" and the 12" single of The Cure's "Alone" remixed by Four Tet.  I also snagged "Blue Moon Safari," electronic musician and producer Vegyn's remix and reinterpretation of Air's debut album "Moon Safari."  It's wonderful.  Check out the mix of "Sexy Boy" below and download the album here.

Deary Remixed by Deary

UK shoegaze duo Deary remix themselves with a new mix of last year's excellent track "The Moth."  The dreamy shoegaze single gets made even more ethereal this time around.  Check out "The Moth (Chrysalis Mix)" below and download it here from Sonic Cathedral.

Fat Dog Remixed

Right before the end of last year, 2024 fave Fat Dog released their excellent little earworm "Peace Song" which to some degree has been stuck in my head ever since.  Yesterday they dropped a remix.  Dig on "Peace Song (A Riot in Sydenham Bus Depot)(TowerBlock1 Mix)" below and order the soon to be released 12" single here from Domino.

Daily Jam - Great Day (Four Tet Remix)

I'm tired as hell, but it was a wonderful day.  I took the day off work.  The third grader had his class field day this morning.  And i spent most of the afternoon in downtown Austin watching a slew of SXSW performances.  So let's celebrate with a little Madvillain, or more succinctly, some Four Tet remixed Madvillain.  Listen to "Great Day" below, our Daily Jam.
