Daily Jam - Dayvan Cowboy (Odd Nosdam Remix)
Last month, electronic duo Boards of Canada dropped their first new album in 13 years. I'm a big fan, and that release has had me revisiting the group's older material ever since. Like this track from 2006. Listen to Odd Nosdam's humming remix of "Dayvan Cowboy" below, our Daily Jam.

It's official. We are getting a new Boards of Canada album at the end of the month, the first new record since 2013. Check out the very cool new track "Prophecy at 1420 MHz" below and pre-order the "Inferno" LP here from Warp.

Boards of Canada
With seemingly zero fanfare or notice today, electronic duo Boards of Canada dropped a new track this morning called "Tape 05." And folks, it's beautiful. Ambient waves and gentle strokes of sound to soothe you inner soul. I've listened to it four or five times in a row now. Check it out below and be on the lookout for what is hopefully their first new album in 13 years.

Daily Jam - Aquarius
I work for a teacher association, and over the weekend we held our annual convention. Each year we have a theme of sorts, and my bosses have seen fit to put me in charge of creating a playlist of music to run during the event. This year's theme was math as our exiting President is a math teacher. And you better believe i put Boards of Canada's "Aquarius" on the mix. Listen below and count along, our Daily Jam.

Daily Jam - Corsair
I was fortunate enough to have the whole last week off from work. That all ends in a few hours. Here's Boards of Canada with "Corsair," our Daily Jam.

Daily Jam - Broken Drum (Boards of Canada Remix)
Though it's got a couple of great songs on it, I've always found Beck's "Guero" LP, along with its remix sibling "Guerolito," to be some of the lesser output from the artist. But the Boards of Canada remix of "Broken Drum" is lights out. It sounds like walking around lost in a big city, but taking it all in. Check it out below, our Daily Jam.

Daily Jam - Roygbiv
There are songs out there that can just soothe me, even if only for a moment, and one of those is "Roygbiv" by Boards of Canada. Check it out below, our Daily Jam.

Daily Jam - Julie and Candy
I have a very vivid memory of hearing Boards of Canada's "Julie and Candy" for the first time, sitting at an old, wooden, and beat-up table in an A/V supply room at The University of Texas, surrounded by racks of outdated gear and my fellow bored coworkers, surfing the web for music on the old PC we had back there, and anxiously waiting for the day to end so i could go home. Or, so i could run by the record store to buy this trippy piece of electronic work and then go home. Listen to the kaleidoscopic sound of it all below, our Daily Jam.

Odd Nosdam remixed by Boards of Canada
Experimental hip-hop/electronic/ambient artist Odd Nosdam's new record "Sisters" hasn't even come out yet (get it Friday from Leaving Records), and its title track is already getting the remix treatment from Boards of Canada. It's gorgeous. Listen below.

New Boards of Canada
I'd be remiss if i didn't mention the new song from Boards of Canada that popped up earlier today. Listen to the all-encapsulating moodiness that is "Reach for the Dead" below. The "Tomorrow's Harvest" LP will be out next month on Warp.
