Rupert Lally

Here's some new synth wave from Rupert Lally.  The artist dropped new cassette "Hacker" a couple days before Christmas, and while the tape is already sold out, you can download the album here from Spun Out of Control.  In the meanwhile, listen to the album opening "Pen Test" below.

Repeated Viewing

Horror synth wave artist Repeated Viewing has a new album of horror synth wave for our ears out this month.  "The Family" creeps and crawls and jams with plenty of Carpenter-esque sounds and more '80s synth score tropes than you can throw a stick at.  Fun stuff.  Check out "Don't Move the Body!" below, and though the cassette has already sold out, you can download the whole album here from Spun Out of Control.

Rupert Lally

Here's a cool little concept album from the England-born, Switzerland-residing artist Rupert Lally.  "Where the Dark Speaks" is 14 tracks of cinematic synth and ambience with each track soundscaping a different locale from a Stephen King novel.  It's a pretty cool idea.  Check out "The Overlook Hotel (The Shining, 1977)" below and get the cassette here from Spun Out of Control.

Antoni Maiovvi

Synth wave artist Antoni Maiovvi is back with a new album of horror score riffs for the imaginary soundtrack "Where Dreams Go to Die."  Listen to the tense and sinister "An Encounter with a Friend with Sharp Teeth" below and get the the album here from Spun Out of Control.

Bryce Miller

Like some new age guru and a mid-90's computer geek got high together and discovered a bunch of John Carpenter soundtracks, Bryce Miller's "City Depths" album plays dark and eerie, but with enough moody electronic ambience to keep things from getting too pastiche.  Listen to "Wander" below and grab the cassette from Spun Out of Control.
