It's been a long time since i've written about FRKWYS collaboration, a series or records put out by
RVNG Intl. that pair electronic and experimental artists together to make something sprawling and ambitious. The thirteenth installment, "Sunergy," comes from rising electronic composer Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith and legendary synth/new age artist Suzanne Ciani. The two craft a beeping and moving soundscape akin to an ocean within a computer, waves of current washing over chips and silicon. Listen to "Closed Circuit" below and grab the record in September.
