Damon McMahon's Amen Dunes project has traversed in all manner of sound, from lo-fi and mangled underground rock to dusty and hallowed Americana, each release revealing different layers of the artist both sonically and thematically. March brings us a new record, "Freedom," which continues to push McMahon in new directions.
