Thor & Friends

If the last couple of weeks of the year are spent catching up on all of the things i missed out on at the beginning of the year, then the first couple weeks of the next year are spent catching up on all of the things i missed out on a the end.  Back in November, multi-instrumentalist and carpenter Thor Harris released "The Subversive Nature of Kindness" with his group/collective Thor & Friends.  The album is kind of an experimental new age record, but filtered through notions of folk rock, chamber pop, and ambient sound.  Listen to album opener "90 Metres" below and pick up the record from Living Music Duplication.
