Mexican Summer via their Anthology Recordings offshoot are set to release a collection of rare and hard-to-find music from Philadelphia ambient electronic act The Nightcrawlers. "The Biophonic Boombox Recordings" collects material that the trio home-recorded and self-released on 35 cassettes from 1980 to 1991, creeping and oozing through the the ether and drawing from classical music, new age, kosmische, and ambient sound.
