Mélanie

I will never be able to quite explain the hold that French psych pop has over me, particular that with female vocals.  It soothes my soul.  And so we have the latest release from French artist Mélanie.  New album "Cri D'Amour" is full of moody and melancholy chansons that put me into that right dreamy state.  And as a bonus, it features some percussion from the late, great drummer Tony Allen.  Check out "Paris" below and get the album here from Comet Records.
