Fantasy of a Broken Heart

There are 5 to 10 bands whose names i feel like i'm seeing on every single party, showcase, afterparty, and event this week at SXSW.  That's an unbelievable amount of work and dedication to your craft and getting your name out there.  And i respect the shit out of that.  One of those artists is Brooklyn band Fantasy of a Broken Heart and their dreamy, infectious indie pop.  Check out the excellently titled new tune "We Confront the Demon in Mysterious Ways" below and pre-order the "Chaos Practitioner" EP here from Dots Per Inch Music.

Amiture

Brooklyn duo Amiture make a cool mix of electro-tinged alt-rock, dance, and blues that harkens back to a lot of stuff i was listening to 25 years ago.  It's like they made it just for me.  Anyway, new album "Mother Engine" is out in February.  Pre-order it here from Dots Per Inch Music and check out the video for the very hip "Billy's Dream" below.
