Drugdealer & Weyes Blood

Throwback pop artist Drugdealer is back with a couple of new tunes this month, featuring his usual blend of AM soft rock and indie pop.  On "Real Thing," he reunites with former collaborator Weyes Blood for some soul-infused vibes.  Check it out below and download it, along with "The News," here from Mexican Summer.

Drugdealer

The kitschy, '60s/'70s AM radio throwback Drugdealer have a new record heading our way in April on Mexican Summer.  Watch the video for the smooth and coasting "Fools" below, pre-order the "Raw Honey" LP here, and dig on the United State of America-aping cover art above.

Drugdealer

If it seems like there is a veritable endless amount of musical styles, genres, and influences to mine for modern inspiration, that's because there is.  Drugdealer, the latest side project from Run DMT main man Mike Collins channels the easy soft rock grandeur of folks like Carole King and that ilk to sublime effect on the single "Suddenly" featuring a vocal assist from Weyes Blood's Natalie Mering, and Ariel Pink on the boards.  It's lovely.  Listen below, and pre-order the upcoming "The End of Comedy" LP on Weird World Records.
