UK psych rock band Flowers Must Die is back with a new album of cosmic freakout noise to rattle your ears and shake your souls.  Listen to new tune "Nåja" below and grab the new "Tystnad" album here (download) or here (vinyl) from Rocket Recordings.

Flowers Must Die

Here's some glorious music from Swedish born / UK based band Flowers Must Die that was recorded almost 10 years ago and is seeing the light of day with the release of the "Stormen Fore Lugnet" 12".  Dig on the swirling, noisy mix of psych, space rock, prog, and jazz that is "Darskapen" below and get the vinyl here from the band.

OCH

It appears that Swedish psych rock band Flowers Must Die may be kaputt, which is a shame, but it also appears that some members have carried on as OCH, dialing up the spacey cosmos head trips to expand minds and fry noodles.  Listen to the expanding "Pelennor's Falt" below and get the new "II" LP here via Rocket Recordings.

Flowers Must Die

Noisy, Swedish psych rock weirdos Flowers Must Die have a new record coming out later this month, the follow up to last year's excellent "Kompost" LP.  "Där Blommor Dör" takes things even further, a trippy mix of noise and drone, hypnotic sounds and guitar freakouts, an inner head trip that ends in implosion.  Listen to "Oroa Dig Inte" below and order the record here.

Flowers Must Die

I'm at a loss as to how to categorize Sweden's Flowers Must Die.  The band's music is something akin to taking a bunch of warbly old disco records, interstellar jazz albums, psych rock freakouts, post punk sneer, and prog rock boogie, throwing it all into a blender, and pressing puree.  And yet, the outcome is incredible.  Listen to "Hit" below and cop the "Kompost" LP here from Rocket Recordings.
