Daily Jam - Falling from Grace

Much like how some of the best shoegaze out there comes from Japan or Korea, a lot of the best darkwave synth pop comes to us via France.  Here's Minuit Machine side project Hante. with "Falling from Grace" to prove the point.  Listen below, our Daily Jam.

Hante. Covers Depeche Mode

The good folks at Cleopatra Records just released a Depeche Mode tribute album featuring a whole slew of artists i've never heard of and a few that i have like The KVB, Lebanon Hanover, and Xiu Xiu.  It's also got French synth artist Hante. doing a very ghostly version of "Somebody."  It's cool.  Check it out below and get the "All I Ever Wanted" album here.

Minuit Machine

Hooray!  I had heard a rumor that we were getting a new album from French darkwave synth pop duo Minuit Machine this year, but didn't really know if it was for real or not, with Helene de Thoury already releasing a new record from her Hante. project a couple months ago.  But here we are.  And it's out soon too.  The "Infrarouge" LP finds the duo traversing their usual sea of melancholy and dark, icy synthesizer tones, and i am here for it.  Listen to "DRGS" below and pre-order the record here, out next month on Synth Religion.

Fragrance
