Death Grips - Niggas on the Moon

If you haven't been paying attention to the controversy courting, penis album cover making, free music releasing, genre defying punk-noise-techno-rap mesh-up machine that is Death Grips for the last few years, then shame on you.  The duo have a new double album called "The Powers that B" coming out later in the year on Harvest/Third Worlds Records, and have opted to release the first have of it, called "Niggas on the Moon" for free download.  Get it here and listen to first track "Up My Sleeves" below.

And Bjork is all over the thing too.  Her vocals, sampled or otherwise, appear on all eight tracks.

together PANGEA

Here's a new shredder from LA's garage rock trouble makers together PANGEA.  "Snakedog" burns and scratches, and is a perfect jam to close out these last long and hot summer days of August.  Listen below and get the single from Harvest.

Banks

I don't know anything about Banks, other than she's from LA, she makes soulful, R&B-tinged, electronic pop, she's got an EP coming out on Harvest Records/Good Years Recordings, and her jam "Waiting Game" is all kinds of sexy awesome.  Take a listen below.  I love the layered synth effect thing going on.
