Yoo Doo Right + Nolan Potter + Population II

Psych and prog-tinged Canadian post rock band Yoo Doo Right have teamed with fellow Canadian post punk band Population II and Austin psych rocker Nolan Potter for the collaborative album "Yoo II with Nolan Potter."  Going by the track "Gulf of Mexico," we're in for a psych and krautrock fueled good time.  Check the track out below and pre-order the LP from the artists and Mothland Records here, here, or here.

Starting to dig into some of the names of performers i've seen list for SXSW next month, and one is Montreal alt-rock band Population II.  The French language band have a kind of grooving psych, prog, and post punk vibe that should get a lot of eyeballs on them when they're in Austin.  Check out "Le The Est Pret" below and pre-order the upcoming "Maintenant Jamais" LP here from Bonsound.
