Oh hell yeah, we've got new music from Austin's Portrayal of Guilt heading our way next month.  One of the things i love about these guys is that they constantly push their particular brand of black metal into new and different and weird places with every release, whether it be stripping the guitars in favor of the most evil sounding string section you can imagine, or the bits of industrial and alternative rock that seem to be surfacing on new track "Ecstasy."  It works, and i've got to say i can't wait to hear the rest of "...Beginning of the End" in April.  Check the track out below and pre-order the LP here from Run For Cover Records.

Portrayal of Guilt Remixed

On Halloween, Austin metal band Portrayal of Guilt are set to release a remix album of tracks from their 2021 record "CHRISTFUCKER."  The remix album is titled adequately enough, "CHRISTFUCKER II."  Featuring an array of artists like VOWWS, Pictureplane, and more taking on the artist's noisy, aggressive work, it should prove for an interesting and intense listen.  Check out the Anatomy remix of "...Where the Suffering Never Ends" below and pre-order the album here from Run for Cover Records.

Portrayal of Guilt

Austin's blackened metal band Portrayal of Guilt are set to release new album "Devil Music" at the end of the week.  They have yet to release any singles or tracks per se, but they did put out a very cool "trailer" for the new record.  Going on the sounds and visuals in said trailer, and the loud and heavy performance i caught during SXSW last month, "Devil Music" is going to rule.  Watch the trailer below and pre-order the album here from Run For Cover Records.
