GUNSHIP

UK synthwave artist GUNSHIP has a new album coming our way in September, and it has a whole slew of different guest artists on it.  Some of these guests seem obvious (Carpenter Brut, Power Glove, John Carpenter), and some others not so much (Dave Lombardo, Gavin Rossdale, Britta Phillips).  At any rate, i await hearing the whole thing.  In the meanwhile, check out the Power Glove assisted "Ghost" below and pre-order the "Unicorn" album here.

These guys are always fun.  Australian synth wave artist Power Glove has a new album out later this month, full of video game techno and '80s synthesizers.  Listen to "Loaded" below and get the upcoming "Playback" here.

Far be it for me to mock video game music...i've always had a soft spot for it in my heart of hearts, even though i'm not a gamer by any standard.  Melbourne's aptly named Power Glove provided a very 80's synth score for the game "Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon," and it will be available on Record Store Day.  Hooray!  Listen to "Blood Dragon Theme (Reprise)" below.
