Daily Jam (Mike Patton Week) - Sweet Smell of Success

Mike Patton has been in a whole lot of supergroups.  I guess when you've got that kind of vocal range, and that eclectic of taste in music, it's going to happen that way.  Anyway, here's a jam from one of his longest running projects Tomahawk.  Here's "Sweet Smell of Success," our Daily Jam.

Tomahawk - South Paw video (Mike Patton as a puppet!)

Last year, Mike Patton's Tomahawk project released their fourth album "Oddfellows."  Today, i was informed that album standout "South Paw" had a music video featuring the band as puppets.  It's kind of terrifying, but totally awesome too.  This information came to me from my wife because she is cooler than you or i will ever be.  Watch below and get the album on Ipecac.

Mike Patton's excellent Tomahawk project released their fourth album, "Oddfellows," last year, but they have been kind enough to issue a 7" of two tracks that didn't make the record.  Listen to "M.E.A.T." below and get the record from Ipecac.

I've always been pretty retarded for anything Mike Patton is involved in, from Faith No More to Mr. Bungle to Fantomas to Lovage.  Tomahawk is no exception.  The "super" group released a single for new song "Stone Letter" on Black Friday and new LP "Odd Fellows" is due in January from Ipecac.  Hooray!  Watch the video for "Stone Letter" below.
