Feels

I caught LA garage/psych rock act Feels at SXSW a few years ago on a whim, and became an instant fan.  New album "Post Earth" is out now on Wichita Recordings.  Listen to the album opening "Car" below and order the record here.

The Cribs

The Cribs are one of those bands that i've seen the name of a thousand times over the last several years, popping up on music blogs, or playing festival sets, but for some reason or another just never caught my ear.  But, i guess when you record and album with Steve Albini, it's going to pique my interest.  The UK act's new album "24-7 Rock Star Shit" is out next week on Wichita Recordings, and it's got that rough Albini flavor.  Listen to "Year of Hate" below.

Total Babes

Wild and raucous Ohio band Total Babes (which features members of Cloud Nothings) have new album "Heydays" due next month on Wichita, and it's looking to be a bouncy and fun affair.  Take a listen to "Circling," featuring Cloud Nothings main man Dylan Baldi on sax below.

Cheatahs

London shoegaze act Cheatahs are releasing their new "Murasaki" EP next month on Wichita.  The title track sounds like blasting off into space, the stars and lights reflecting off of the glass on your astronaut head piece...and then never returning.  Listen below.
